Budo or Martial arts as we call it in the west is naturally associated with violence, but paradoxically, by studying Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, I feel more and more positive about life. Over time and with insights it becomes a martial art for life, in positive terms that is, to live.
I started training in 1988 and has since been lucky to have been able to participate in 13 different Taikai's (the international training camp) that was practiced by our Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. I participated in more than 50 training camp with various Shihans (very often Sveneric Bogsater which for many years inspired me and still do), also I have been privileged to be invited to teach in more than 50 training camps, even internationally.
1995 I passed the test for 5dan and since 1997 I go every year to Japan and train, with Hatsumi and the Japanese Shihans. On Hatsumi Sensei's birthday, December 2, 2000, I was honored 10dan. That same year I received the highest merit mark from the Swedish Budo Federation. In the summer of 2009 I was honored with 15dan, which is the highest rank you can achieve in the Bujinkan.
